Cuminestown telephone exchange is situated in Auchry Road, Cuminestown, Turriff AB53 5WJ.
It opened at 10 am on Wednesday 26 May 1937 as a UAX 12 to replace a manual board. Â It changed to digital working on 23 May 1994.
Its telephone codes include 01888-54
Its former dialling code was 088 83.

Turriff ATE

Turriff telephone exchange is in Victoria Terrace, Turriff AB53 4EE.
The first exchange here was opened in Watsons Close, off the High Street, by the National Telephone Company on 1906. A UAX14 was finally opened in the present building in the late 1940s, automation having been delayed by the war. It changed to digital working on 23 May 1994.
Its telephone codes include 01888-56.
Its former dialling code was 088 82.
