Dumbarton former Manual Exchange
This is the site of the former Dumbarton Manual Telephone Exchange which was located in College Street, Dumbarton G82 1NH and served Dumbarton and the surrounding area.
The building stood to the left of the surviving tenement before being demolished to make way for the A814 dual carriageway.
In 1947 it had multiple CBS switchboards providing 655 lines.
