Opened as an RAX5 in about 1933, later converted to a UAX12, it closed in 1971, when lines were transferred to Grindleford exchange.

Its dialling code was 043 36.

  • Bamford Former ExchangeThe former Bamford exchange was a UAX13 which replaced a CBS2 exchange, possibly in the 1950s. Its dialling code was 043 34. Location unknown.
  • Bradwell Moor Former ExchangeThe former Bradwell Moor exchange was an RAX5, opened in the early 1930s, which closed in 1957, lines being transferred to Hope exchange. It did not have a national dialling code. It was located in Stretfield Road.
