Colney Heath former ATE
The former Colney Heath telephone exchange was located in Roestock Lane, Colney Heath, St Albans AL4 0PP.
It was initially equipped with a UAX12, then a UAX13.
When it closed in the 1970’s subscribers were transferred to the Bowmansgreen exchange.
It is now a private dwelling called The Old Exchange.

Park Street ATE
Park Street Telephone Exchange, is situated in Frogmore, St Albans AL2 2JS and serves How Wood and Park Street.
This exchange was initially equipped with a UAX14, then a TXE2 and finally with a System X.
The former Park Street exchange, equipped with a UAX5, was situated in Branch Road, Frogmore AL2 2LU.
The telephone code for this exchange is 01727-87.

The former Park Street telephone exchange stood in Branch Street, Frogmore, St Albans AL2 2LU.
Having opened as an RAX5, it was later demolished and replace by a house – 6 Branch Road.
It did not have a national dialling code.

St Albans Telephone Exchange is located in Liverpool Road, St Albans AL1 3UL and serves St Albans and the surrounding area.
