Glendevon former ATE
The former Glendevon Telephone Exchange is located in Glendevon, Dollar FK14 7JY and served Glendevon and the surrounding area. In 1947 Glemdevon was listed as a UAX12.
The exchange closed at 10.30am on Thursday 26 May 1988 when all lines were transferred to Muckhart exchange. BT announced the closure with an adert in the Dundee Courier which said that numbers would remain the same – eg Glendevon 299 became Muckhart 299.
