Boston telephone exchange is in Main Ridge West, Boston PE21 6QX.
It was officially opened by Boston mayor Jack Parker in 1973, replacing a non-director exchange which opened in 1936.

Its former dialling code was 0205.

Boston former ATE
The former Boston telephone exchange is in Wide Bargate, Boston (now PE21 6RH).
The first Boston exchange, a magneto board, was opened by the National Telephone Company around 1898 and moved to the main post office, seen here, after 1912. An auto exchange was opened by the deputy Postmaster-General Walter Womersley on 6 November 1936 in the flat-roofed extension visible on the right. It continued in use until 1973. The post office has since closed.
Its former dialling code was 0205.

Butterwick ATE
Butterwick telephone exchange is in Brand End Road, Butterwick, Boston PE22 0ET.
It came into service in October 1979, when lines became Boston 760*** numbers. The first Butterwick manual exchange opened in 1925 and was replaced around 1946 by a UAX13 on the same site as the current exchange which has since been demolished.
The telephones codes for this exchange include 01205-76.

Fosdyke ATE
Fosdyke telephone exchange is in Main Road, Fosdyke, Boston PE20 2DB
It came into service as a UAX13 in 1936, replacing a manual board. It was converted from Strowger to digital working at 7am on Tuesday 10 January 1994.

Hubberts Bridge ATE
Hubberts Bridge telephone exchange is in Boardsides, Hubberts Bridge, Boston PE20 3SG.
It came into service as a UAX13 around 1951, replacing an earlier UAX12 (location unknown). It was converted from Strowger to digital working around 1992.
The telephones codes for this exchange include 01205-290.

Kirton telephone exchange is in King Street, Kirton, Boston PE20 1HZ.
It came into service on 30 January 1975 when lines became Boston 722*** numbers. It replaced a UAX13 in Boston Road, now demolished.

It came into service as a UAX13 on Tuesday 29 January 1946, replacing a manual exchange. It was converted from Strowger to digital working around 1993.

New Leake ATE
New Leake telephone exchange is in Spilsby Road, Eastville, Boston PE22 8JR.
It came into service in late 1945 or early 1946 as a UAX13. It was converted from Strowger to digital working at 7am on Tuesday 10 January 1994.

Old Leake telephone exchange is off Church Road, Old Leake, Boston PE22 9NS.
It came into service around 1980, replacing a UAX, when lines became Boston 870*** numbers.

Sibsey telephone exchange is in Frithville Road, Sibsey, Boston PE22 0SN.
It came into service around 1982, replacing the earlier UAX, when lines became Boston 750*** numbers.
The telephones codes for this exchange include 01205-75.
The dialling code of its predecessor exchange was 020 575.

Sibsey ATE
The former Sibsey telephone exchange is situated in Chapel Lane, Sibsey, Boston PE22 0SN. It is now used as a private garage.
In 1946 planning permission was granted for this new exchange, it closed when the current exchange opened around 1982.
This exchange replaced an earlier UAX 12 exchange that had opened in May 1937.
The telephones codes for this exchange include 01205-75.
The dialling code of its predecessor exchange was 020 575.

Stickney ATE
Stickney telephone exchange is in Main Road, Sickney, Boston PE22 8AY.
The first exchange here was an RAX5 opened on 4 June 1930. The present exchange was converted from Strowger to digital working on 29 January 1987 when lines became Boston 480*** numbers.
The telephones codes for this exchange include 01205-48.

The first exchange here was an RAX5 which opened in 1931. The present exchange was converted from Strowger to digital working around 1986.

It came into service in mid-1981 when lines became Boston 820*** numbers. It replaced a UAX13 in Coles Lane which opened on Tuesday 10 August 1948 and has since been demolished.
