We’re not sure of the location of the former Malham exchange but it may have stood in Cove Lane, Malham, Skipton BD23 4DH.

It was photographed by the GPO in 1936, not long after it opened as a UAX12. The petrol engine exhaust suggests there was no mains electricity in the area at the time.

It closed around 1970 when lines were taken over by Airton exchange. If we’ve got the position right, it has since been demolished and replaced by a house.
