Conisbrough former ATE
The former Conisbrough telephone exchange is in Station Road, Conisbrough, Doncaster DN12 3DB.
It came into service on 12 February 1952, replacing a manual exchange and closed on 30 September 1975 when it was replaced by the current exchange, lines becoming Rotherham 86**** numbers. It is now a property called Cal A Mia.
Its dialling code was 070 986.

Goldthorpe ATE
Goldthorpe former ATE
The former Goldthorpe telephone exchange stood on the corner of Kelly Street and Queen Street, Goldthorpe, Rotherham S63 9NB.
It came into service on Saturday 13 September 1947 as a UAX14 replacing a manual exchange opened in 1926 in Goslinggate. It closed on 20 May 1976 when it was replaced by the current exchange and lines became Rotherham 89**** numbers. It was demolished around 2010.
Its dialling code was 070 989.

Maltby former ATE
The former Maltby ATE stands to the front of the current exchange site in Tickhill Road, Maltby, Rotherham S66 7NG.
It came into service on 11 May 1962 to replace a manual exchange. It closed on Thursday 7 July 1977 when the current exchange opened and lines became  Rotherham 81**** numbers.
It later became a mail delivery office and is now disused.
Its dialling code was 070 981.

Mexborough former ATE
The former Mexborough exchange still stands to the rear of the post office at 2 Main St, Mexborough S64 9DP.
It came into service on 13 September 1940 to replace a manual exchange in the former post office in Market Street. It closed on 4 April 1963 when it was replaced by the current exchange.
Its dialling code was 070 988.

Thrybergh former ATE
The former Thrybergh auto exchange stands near Park Lane in Doncaster Road, Thrybergh, Rotherham S65 4BE.
It came into service as an RAX5 on 2 February 1931. It was replaced in the 1940s by a UAX 13 (since demolished) immediately to the north east of the current exchange.
It did not have an STD dialling code.

The former Wickersley telephone exchange is at 75A Bawtry Road, Wickersley, Rotherham S66 2DN.
It came into service as a UAX14 in March 1939. Since its replacement, it has been turned into a house called The Old Exchange.
